The village church in Hohenstein is a medieval church made of granite masonry with white joints. The tower has been missing since the Thirty Years' War. The church was renovated in 1709 and 1724, and its interior was completely remodeled in 1868/69. In 1909, the wooden ceilings in the nave and chancel were decorated with a coffered motif by the church painter Wolter from Berlin. The walls feature funeral crowns, an old local custom in Oberbarnim. The bell dates from 1707.

The Protestant village church of Klosterdorf is a fieldstone church from the 13th century in Klosterdorf, a district of the municipality of Oberbarnim in the Märkisch-Oderland district in the state of Brandenburg. The parish belongs to the Oderland-Spree church district of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia.
