The tour leads through an area where mountain bikers are not welcome. There are traffic signs stating "Cycling not allowed" under "No Entry" and cow fences that can only be crossed one person at a time. This tour is completely unsuitable for cyclists in general.

Very good food

The Unterauerlinger Hut is open from mid-May to the first Sunday in October and offers a selection of drinks and homemade specialties that vary depending on what is on offer each day. Hikers can pay to get chilled drinks from the fountain in front of the hut at any time. It is also possible to stay overnight if the weather changes or by prior arrangement.

Be careful: If you want to continue on to the Bernstein Hut, the markings are unclear! The yellow ÖAV sign points to the right, onto a meadow path, but you're tempted to continue along the forest road (also on the right). The path across the meadow on the far right is the correct one!
