Thirty years ago, I started pedaling on this very sheep track... what a shame.

Church of Our Lady of Constantinople. Dating back to 1684 it is known as the "Church of the devils". In fact, legend has it that it was precisely the devils who built it. Today the church is deconsecrated.

On a hill between Ugento and its Torre San Giovanni hamlet, this simple church surrounded by greenery is dedicated to Santa Maria del Casale. Very small, surrounded by trees and in a really quiet place, it gives an immediate feeling of peace.
