From the front, the church looks like a fortress. For this sparsely populated area, this church—like many others—is far too large for the village.

An area with a great many wayside crosses, which are particularly noteworthy here. A lovely little village.

Road between Hrensko and Vysoka Lipa, steadily uphill from the Elbe. Road with minor damage, but generally good driving.

Great route

The bridge is open again.

If you manage to make it to the first peak right at the beginning without overexerting yourself, the rest of the route winds pleasantly through the forest. The asphalt is top-notch. Rock formations here and there also provide a nice change of pace. There's traffic.

The bike path is nice and wide. And the view makes you want to go hiking.

Impressive fortress. Well worth a visit.
