This viewpoint is located about 600 meters outside the municipality of Santa Elena. It is worth looking out and getting a small sample of the beautiful Despeñaperros natural park. The balcony of the Los Órganos viewpoint is a steep and panoramic cliff over the Despeñaperros pass canyon. The mountains that appear in the landscape are about 300 million years old, when the level of an ancient sea was lowering and the blades emerged in the form of organ pipes that appear on the slopes of the ravine covered with colored mosses and lichens. The path that runs through the Valdeazores stream is known as the Barranco de la Niebla or chestnut grove route, it is an exuberant Mediterranean forest of gall oaks, Pyrenean oaks and mostajos in the upper part and ancient centennial chestnut trees in the lower sector, with groups of ash trees and alder trees on the banks of the stream, near the mouth of the Despeñaperros river canyon.
