There’s a good cafe at the end of the cycling path, right before you enter the City of Shipka.

It is so sad to see interesting architecture left to be destroyed. Could have easily be turned into a museum.

The Buzludja Monument is a congress hall of the Bulgarian Communist Party, which stands on the top of the Shipka Pass. The monument is closed. It is very windy at the top. It can be reached by two asphalt paths. Altitude 1400 m

There is a drinking fountain in a shopping mall. Here you can fill up your water bottles.

A small park in the city center with a drinking fountain. Ideal for a lunch break.
