Smooth surface, a good alternative to the busy main road.

It was a bit rough, especially on the road bike at night. But no cars came along.

Clean surface, no traffic, what more could you want.

The fieldstone church was built in the first half of the 13th century. It consists of a nave and a recessed chancel with an apse in the east. In 1798, a timber-framed roof tower was added to the gable roof of the nave on the west side. Its square storey is followed by an octagonal one, which houses the bell cage. A slate-covered Italian dome sits above it. After 1980, a wide dormer window was converted into a simple skylight, and after 2007, the chimney on the east end of the nave's ridge was removed.
