Very nice view, good surefootedness necessary

A cool swim on hot summer days. Better than any infinity pool.

Pure mountain panorama.. idyllically situated on the way to the Franz Fischer Hütte...

In the western ascent, a ca. 70 m high chimney secured with a wire rope has to be climbed on the summit massif, which is a special highlight.

The summit of the Mosermandl can be reached via the south ridge or via the Westweg (from the Franz Fischer Hut via the Windischscharte ridge). Westweg: Once you've passed the scree cone at the foot of the Mosermandel summit massif, you reach a chimney (similar to a via ferrata with a difficulty of A/B), approximately 70 m high, which is very well secured with wire ropes. This leads almost directly to the summit. The chimney doesn't require any special stamina or arm strength, and climbing it is a lot of fun. Nevertheless, caution and respect for the mountain are advised, especially if you don't have a via ferrata set with you. About 2 km away is the summit of the Faulkogel, which presents a very similar challenge. Here, too, there's a chimney in the summit area, approximately 50 m high, secured with a steel cable, which you have to climb.

Beautiful summit that is easy to reach because of the lift. But therefore also full and the ski area unfortunately spoils the landscape a bit ...
