The chapel was built in 1887 in the neo-Gothic style. Mathias Kurz decided to build it at that time. The painter Theodor Depaul came from Wildon. Since 1919, a steel bell by Böhler has stood in the slender bell tower. After a storm in 1936, the roof and facade of the chapel were renovated. In 1992-1993, the entire drainage and interior design took place. In 2022-2023, a new roof structure and the entire tower renovation, a new facade and balcony, and the forecourt design will follow.

The chapel was renovated in 1993 and is looked after by 8 families. Each family takes responsibility for 1 year. The chapel is used for devotions in May, for blessings of food at Easter and a few times a year for church services.

Around 100 years ago, vineyards still dominated the landscape around the house. And the wine press belonging to Waasen Castle was located on the farm. The philosophy behind it: "For years, we have managed to maintain the ecological balance of nature by avoiding herbicides." The farm shop is open all year round, Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.! In the newly designed sales room, many varieties in different price ranges will be offered all year round in the near future. You can buy fresh fruit here from Monday to Sunday - also self-service.

Every year on August 15th, pilgrimages are made from several places in the parish and neighboring parishes to the Klampferkapelle. The first chapel was built in 1894 by the married couple Josef and Maria Haiden. Klampferwagner built. Over time the chapel became dilapidated and it was decided to rebuild the chapel on the site. The inauguration of the newly built chapel took place on August 15, 1991.
