The entrance to the Sierra del Carche Regional Park is an access point to an exceptional natural environment in the Region of Murcia, specifically in the northeastern quadrant. The Sierra del Carche offers hiking routes that allow you to explore its natural beauty. From the entrance to the park, you can enter paths surrounded by vegetation, enjoy panoramic views and discover the richness of its fauna and flora.

At this point you find yourself in front of the imposing Basilica of the Immaculate Conception of the city of Yecla built between 1775-1868. In addition to the basilica, you can visit the Hisn Yakka, an ancient fortress and Muslim town, predecessors of the current city of Yecla. The Church of the Assumption or on the outskirts, the Roman site of Los Torrejones or even further away, the beautiful Monte Arabí.

This monument, with the name of "Coliseum Crema Marfil del Vinalopó", is built at the access to Pinoso, on the regional road that joins the cities of Elda and Jumilla. It is a roundabout of 1,100 tons of ivory cream marble, which serves as a tribute to all those people who have dedicated their lives to the natural stone sector.

The highest peak of Carche is 1372 meters high, it is located next to the Madama shaded area. The best known ravines are San Cristóbal, Guarafía and Yedra. There are various archaeological sites from settlements of the Bronze Age and later of the Iberians

Raspay belongs to the municipality of Yecla, Region of Murcia. It has several places of interest, among which the Zurriera cave, Jaime el Barbudo and the Pansas fountain stand out.

This snow well is a construction of traditional architecture with great ethnographic importance. Its construction began in 1683. The snow/ice was stored for later transport to nearby towns, intended for use both in food preservation and in the field of medicine.

From its top at 1370 meters you will have amazing views of the valleys of the Altiplano de Murcia and beyond! There are many alternative paths to reach the top with more or less difficulty but all of them are very attractive. Remember to bring plenty of water and suitable footwear, if you prefer some walking sticks will always help. At the top is the mountain refuge to spend the night and enjoy wonderful sunsets and sunrises!
