Beautiful ride on mixed terrain, with a very compact dirt track, better than asphalt, and full of points of interest: the large lake of Avigliana, the Mareschi marshy area, the remains of the ancient dynamite factory.

Beautiful dirt road, with a very compact surface (better than asphalt), passable with any bicycle. You cross the very interesting marshy area of Avigliana. Recommended.

The Avigliana lakes natural park is a treasure chest of biodiversity and represents a notable resource for Avigliana, both from an environmental and tourist point of view. The park is made up of three ecosystems: the two lakes, the Mareschi swamp and the moraine hills. The lakes are the only ones surviving among those formed following the last two great Pleistocene glaciations in the Susa valley. The Sacra di San Michele dominates this protected area from above, recalling that, since the year 1000, it has represented the point of reference for every person on a pilgrimage who crossed the Alps towards Rome or the Holy Land.
