Lom Stave Church is one of Norway's largest and most well-preserved stave churches, located in the village of Lom. Dating back to the 12th century, it is famous for its dragon-head carvings on the roof and its richly decorated interior, which includes intricate carvings and frescoes. Unlike many other stave churches, it has remained in continuous use for centuries and has been expanded over time, most notably with the addition of a transept in the 17th century.

The climb from Andalsnes is closed until July 14, 2025, due to landslide repairs, but the south side of Trollstigen is open up to the viewpoint. On a clear day, you can see the switchbacks – a must-see on any 🇳🇴 trip!

Beware the trolls! The top of the Trollstigen, where there are public toilets, a guest house and many interesting troll statues.

Great view of Moldefjord from a quiet road. Take in the scenery as you take a break from all the hills in the area!

An interesting traditional village with a stunning rapid river. Every house is made of wood, and in the setting of the mountains, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time.

An absolute must-do climb. It's hard to get to and even harder to make into a loop, but it is totally worth it for the epic views, perfect switchbacks and otherworldly landscape. Worth the effort!

Fantastic view. Anyone who has conquered the 500 meters of winding roads will be rewarded with this fantastic view. Anyone who arrives in time (around 8 a.m.) will have the viewpoint to themselves before the cruise tourists and tour groups reach the top.
