Difficult descent to the Żłobki Pass

The magnificent tower on Radziejowa (1,266 m above sea level). Radziejowa is the highest mountain in the Sądecki Beskids. The views from the top (i.e., the tower) are incredible, and the map showing the panorama in front of you and which mountains you're looking at is very helpful!

The observation tower on the highest peak in the Beskid Sądecki Mountains, at 1,266 meters, was first built in 2006 and measured 20 meters at the time. Unfortunately, in June 2010, the tower was completely damaged, likely following a lightning strike. After repairs, the tower was accessible until 2017, but was then completely demolished due to rotten wood. A completely new tower was built in 2020, reaching a total height of 22 meters. From a beautiful platform at a height of 17 meters, you have fantastic views in all four directions... You can see the High Tatras, Pieniny, Babią Górę, Gorce, Podhale, Beskid Wyspowy, Beskidu Sądecki, and Beskid Niski.

This apple pie is among the best mountain apple pies. I recommend asking for whipped cream :)

The Kotuńka Rock is a characteristic limestone rock formation located in the Dunajec River just before entering Szczawnica. It is perfectly visible from the road and is one of the recognizable points in the area. Nearby, the Grajcarek River flows into the Dunajec River, and behind the rock begins the Pienińska Road leading to the border crossing. There is a legend associated with Kotuńka, according to which the devil carried a boulder to the castle in the Pieniny Mountains, but lost it when a rooster suddenly crowed. In the years 1875-1912, a sculpture of a highlander greeting visitors stood on it, which was re-erected in 1997. The name of the rock comes from its shape - according to a description from 1869, "it emerges from the water like a cunning cat on the lookout".

Schronisko pod Durbaszka is a cozy place located in the Małe Pieniny Mountains, perfect for a break during a mountain hike or run. It is located right next to the trail leading from the Homole Gorge, which makes it a convenient resting point with a beautiful view of the surrounding ranges. The shelter offers simple, home-cooked food and the possibility of overnight stays, and its relaxed atmosphere attracts tourists looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. It is worth having cash with you, because coverage and card payments may be limited. In the summer, you can rest on the benches in front of the shelter, enjoying the silence and the panorama.
