Knappfors canal connects Alkvettern and Lonnen lakes. The system is part of the huge waterways of the area, and it allows navigation through the two lakes ultimately ending towards lake Vänern.

In this stretch, a series of secondary roads allow you to cycle on quiet and car-free ways avoiding the main 205 road which runs parallel connecting Grythyttan and Karlskoga.

The bike path here follows along the shore of Möckeln lake. The area's flat terrain and well-maintained paths make it accessible for all riders. You can enjoy a nice landscape and experience the lake with ample opportunities for camping, swimming or relaxation.

This stretch of road goes through hay farmland near Tysslingen lake. The nature reserve is famed for its spring bird migration, especially Whooper Swans. It's a very quiet road where you can enjoy the scenic landscape.

Tysslingens Naturcenter, near Örebro, features a café, open Wednesday to Sunday, and camping spots for caravans/RVs. There is a nearby open-air museum and ample parking is available. It is well know for its large amounts of migrating Whooper Swans, making it very popular among Bird watchers.

Axbergs church is located near Örebro, on the road that goes around Lången lakes. This medieval stone church, with its distinctive bell tower, is easily visible from the rural countryside around. You can take a break here before continuing your ride.

Quiet road running near Södra Lången lake. This stretch is part of a bike route that goes around the Lången lake system. It's called "Lången runt" and it starts in Örebro.
