A "Witches' Staircase" is a local term for a steep hiking trail near the Hohe Warte mountain range near Alfeld (Leine). It's a special section of the extensive hiking trail network in the region, also known as the Ith-Hils Folded Mountains. Here, there are worn steps on a steep slope. Only for those with sure footing, and some sections are slippery!
