The members of the von Börries family were buried in the small cemetery on the edge of the Reesberg. For some time they owned the Steinlake estate, which is on the other side of the A30.

The Reesberg is 148 m high. Some beautiful, natural paths run across the Reesberg, which are very scenic. Very dense forest alternates with (now) open areas. There are also some secret paths that are well trodden but do not appear in the OpenStreetMap.

Gut Oberbehme is a former manor and moated castle. It has probably existed since the 12th century, but has only been documented since 1450. The owner at that time was the von Quernheim family. The Oberbehme estate has been owned by the von Laer family since 1826. The site is private, but there are restrictions on walking across the courtyard in front of the estate.
