The Bockl Cycle Path runs from Neustadt an der Waldnaab to Eslarn and vice versa. It's mostly paved, with slight inclines.

Beautiful wildlife enclosure. The surroundings are interesting and varied. A great day trip destination.

The Pertolzhofen Art Gallery offers you an insight into constantly changing exhibitions by international artists, regardless of the time of day or the weather. You can look through the windows at the exhibits illuminated by the solar system on the roof.

The family-friendly cycle path ends in Neustadt, where you can take a break at an Italian restaurant or ice cream parlor if you feel like it.

Beautiful little town with around 2500 inhabitants and the centre of the Schönsee region, a popular holiday and excursion destination. The Bavarian-Bohemian Friendship Trail runs through Schönsee. It connects the towns of Nabburg and Horšovský Týn. From the former Schönsee train station, it runs as a cycle and hiking trail on the former railway line from Schönsee to Nabburg. There are two observation towers nearby, the observation tower on the Stückberg (808 m) and the Bohemian Forest Tower on the Weingartnerfels (896 m). Since March 2006, the Centrum Bavaria Bohemia (CeBB) has been located in the former communal brewery in the town of Schönsee, a Bavarian-Bohemian cultural centre to promote cross-border German-Czech relations with exhibitions for bobbin lace, concerts, readings and other events.
