The system reminds me a lot of the 6 shooting ranges in Bornimer Katharinenholz. These date back to the Kaiser's times.

This is a shooting range (probably even from the 1st World War) for handguns, even of larger caliber. If you go through to the end and up the sand hill you will find bullet holes and projectiles on the front wall. The same if you dig a little in the sand.

In the middle of the forest this ruin is probably from the post-war period (GSSD). The purpose of the former facility does not really reveal itself to me, it is not a bunker (vaulted ceiling consists only of bricks). Possibly this is a kind of depot, because larger military vehicles such as tanks would hardly have been able to get through in this hilly landscape.

This measuring section was specially designed by Prof. Vogler in order to be able to determine changes in the earth's body using fine leveling with high accuracy. Along the way there were two obelisks (one on each side of the wide frame) and five to the east and west of the way between a north and south end of the route further granite obelisks were erected. There is a very steep ramp on both sides between the steps.
