In the middle of Oberlienz, the open-air museum invites you on an exciting journey through time. Along the "Old Life" theme trail, you can discover five historic buildings and two mills that impressively depict the rural history and traditional building methods of East Tyrol. Highlights include the functioning smithy, a water-powered wool grinder and the last remaining 18th-century crushing room in Oberlienz.
