Very pretty but the climb is a little over grown and there is some debris. Also the climb is very steep, so to the unfit: beware!

The Roman Villa Borg is a fascinating open-air archaeological museum. Built as a fully reconstructed villa rustica based on a Roman model, it provides visitors with an authentic picture of life in the Roman Empire. An oversized bench is ideal for a break with a view before continuing into the forest. In the distance, the cooling towers of the Cattenom nuclear power plant are steaming on French soil.

From the hill on the other bank of the Saar you have a good view of the Taben quarry. Although it is located in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, the quarry is still allowed to operate. Quartzite has been mined in the quarry since 1877 and is then used in Europe for road construction, as railway ballast or for other construction work.
