In the Köniz Valley you'll pass several old farmhouses. This one is one of them. The old, completely wooden granary right behind it is also worth seeing.

The small pond, partly covered with water lilies, is worth a short stop on the way through the Köniz valley.

The Schwarzsee, also known as Lac Noir, is idyllically situated in the canton of Fribourg (Sense district) and is part of the Gantrisch Nature Park. Located in the heart of the Gantrisch Nature Park lies the Vreneli Village, known from the famous folk song "Vreneli ab em Guggisberg." On the Vreneli Trail, you can discover the story of Vreneli, take a glimpse into a bygone era in the village museum, stroll through the old village center, or simply enjoy the unique atmosphere. Those who come here are immersed in a world full of stories, rolling hills, and authentic hospitality.

Like most of the roads in the Bern Mittelland, this one offers a very smooth surface and in the spring time the road is surrounded from the various colors of the flowers and blossoms of the rapeseed, cherry, apple and pear trees. Best time to ride here is in the Spring to take advantage of the colors.

A very smooth asphalted route which offers views of the surrounding area. At this particular sight there is a picnic table which is very inviting to take a pause and just enjoy the landscape.
