The Thülsfelder Dam is a reservoir between Cloppenburg and Friesoythe in the Oldenburger Münsterland. It borders the communities of Friesoythe, Garrel and Molbergen and was built between 1924 and 1927 to protect the banks of the Soeste from flooding. With a storage capacity of 10.8 million cubic meters, it is one of the “large dams” and is, after the Brohm Dam, the northernmost reservoir in Germany.

The climbing forest is right at the end of the reservoir. There's also a soft serve ice cream truck on weekends.
