The square with the three crosses was built on the spot where three charcoal burners died (according to oral tradition, they burned in the forest). Nice rest area in the middle of the forest, right on the hiking/biking trail.

The "Oberdörfer Bachtalweg" begins at Zimmerplatz on the edge of Arzbach. This path also takes you to the Roman tower. In the past - until 1960 - local carpenters built roof trusses on this site, hence the name. This beautiful rest area with a fountain was created using the waste from the nearby "Silberkaute" mine.

From the Germanenblick you have a great view - and the choice between four paths, all of which - in some way and sooner or later - lead to the Roman Tower, if you want to go there... By bike, it is best to leave the hut on the left and go straight on - it leads up a well-ridable meadow-forest path to a wider path.

Beautiful half-timbered building from 1710 on the main street in Arzbach. The half-timbered town hall has previously been used as a community center, bakery, schoolhouse (1820-1830), polling station, homeless shelter and fire station. But it has always served as the mayor's office.
