St. Linhart's Church was once part of the now non-existent village of Mušov, which was flooded by the current Věstonická reservoir at the end of the 1970s. Today it stands on the island as the only remnant of the village of Mušov.

Here you can get to Pavlov (Pollau) via the reservoir. The Nové Mlýny reservoirs are three reservoirs behind the Nové Mlýny reservoir on the Thaya. The lower reservoir with an area of 1,668 ha is the Novomlýnská reservoir, the middle reservoir 1,031 ha is the Věstonice reservoir and the upper reservoir 528 ha is the Mušovská reservoir.

Mikulov - a wonderful wine region in South Moravia, suitable for cycling trips and winemakers. And the combination of these two things is an ideal holiday !!!

On Vodní Nádrž Nové Mlýny (Nové Mlýny dam) near Strachotín always along the water with beautiful views of the mountains and castles of the Pollau Mountains (Palava) to the Svratka estuary in the Dyje (Thaya). Signposted as ATCM bike route, paved except for a short section.

From the cycle path (EuroVelo 9, Greenway Kraków-Moravia-Vienna and No. 5) along the Nové Mlýny dam you have a great view of the reservoir, but also of the small church in the middle of the lake (Kostel Svatého Linharta). In the background you can see the Pálava Mountains (Palava), worth seeing.

Between the reservoirs, the bike path is not so perfect, but the landscape is great.
