Fantastic route in the Jura...

From the Usserberg, at an altitude of 1,094 metres, you can see the second fold of the Jura appearing in front of you in a lovely green setting.

Very nice view of the castle ruins and the chapel, where the Mümliswiler Bach has cut its way through the ridge.

The Jura is impressive and beautiful. Perfect for cycling.

The Obere Wechten mountain inn is located at an altitude of 1,020 meters on the southern Jura slope of the Passwang ridge in the Thal Nature Park and offers a breathtaking view of the Alpine chain. The cozy inn focuses on regional products and impresses with homemade giant meringues. With 12 rooms and 63 beds, it is ideal for family celebrations, weddings or seminars. A highlight of the area is the Felswegli, which is particularly beautiful in autumn and leads to the Wasserfallen cable car.

The Alt-Falkenstein Castle was probably built around 1100 by the Klus family. Today it houses a local history museum, which is open from April to October. There you can explore an exciting collection of archaeology, weapons, home decor and industrial history from the Thal Nature Park. From the castle you can enjoy a great view.
