ミヒャエル教会 – シュタルデン 特徴的な塔を持つミヒャエル教会は、シュタルデンの歴史的な町の景観を形作っています。現在のバロック様式の建物は、1777年に古い教会の跡地に建てられ、マッター川とザース川の合流点の上に印象的にそびえ立っています。 明るい教会内部には、豪華な装飾が施された主祭壇、精巧な側祭壇、歴史的な説教壇が印象的です。教会の周りには、手入れの行き届いた墓地と伝統的なヴァリスの木造家屋が、橋の村シュタルデンの長い歴史を偲ばせています。ここからは、マッター谷とザース谷、そして周囲の山々の美しい景色も開けています。

Rosswald lies on a relatively narrow ridge at 1,800 meters, high above Brig. The paved road ends in the center of the village, around which many chalets nestle.
