Historical symbols and text on the memorial stone were subsequently made unrecognizable. This curiosity struck me for the first time with this monument. I've never seen anything like this before.

The hall church has a very flat polygonal end in the east and a square church tower in the west. The plastered masonry was originally only made of rubble stones. In the mid-1970s the church had to be closed due to dilapidation. In 2007, parts of the south side were secured with sand-lime bricks. The nave was perhaps built at the beginning of the 16th century and not until 1557, as an inscription on the north-eastern window of the choir suggests. It is covered with a hipped roof. There are three two-lane tracery windows in the polygon. The windows on the long sides were renewed in the 18th century. The onion dome of the tower and the lantern sitting on it are more recent. Three-sided galleries are built into the interior and two-story on the long sides. Above the portal in the north was the former access to the galleries from the 16th century. In the 19th century there was intensive viticulture on this steep, calcareous southern slope until it was destroyed by phylloxera. Unfortunately you can hardly find any vines, the area has been developed into a steppe grassland biotope with EU funds in recent years.

The church was cut in half between 1964 and 1974 and the baroque inventory was sold, so that little of what it was originally was preserved.

The large hall church was built in 1736–39 with the inclusion of a partly medieval tower in the east. The church tower is covered with a dome on which sits a lantern, which is crowned with a weather vane marked 1739. In it hangs a bell that was cast in 1522. The tower has bulky buttresses. The longitudinal walls of the nave with five axes are divided by pilaster strips, with arched windows in between. In the middle are the portals with suspensions. There is a cranked cornice below the eaves. All elements of the structure are made of ashlar. The nave is covered with a hipped roof on the outside and a partially vaulted wooden beam ceiling on the inside. The interior has three-sided, two-story galleries. In the east there are two-story boxes. The church furnishings are from the time it was built. In front of the east wall of the nave is a multi-colored marbled pulpit altar decorated in small pieces with a crucifix, angels and putti. It is marked 1744. A lectern sits on the carved baroque baptismal font. The organ with 24 registers, divided into 2 manuals and pedal, was built around 1820 by an unknown organ builder. Here, a steppe lawn is to be created again from a former vineyard. The project is so important for nature conservation that 75% of it was funded by the EU.

There are several historical graves and tombstones scattered across the cemetery. Some of these are over 200 years old. Some of them are still in good condition and legible, others are unfortunately no longer.
