Beautiful old village with many paths leading into the surrounding countryside.

The Korbach-Affoldern railway line was primarily built to transport construction materials for the dam. Now, the longest section has been converted into a cycle and hiking path.

The Eder Railway Cycle Path runs from Buhlen near Affoldern to Korbach and vice versa. It's completely paved, with no significant incline. Former station buildings, bridges, and tunnels bear witness to and bear witness to the—sadly—long-gone railway era.

Nice little street, not too much traffic.
