Generous seating areas along the Weser promenade, which was redesigned as part of the Höxter State Garden Show 2023, offer a completely new river and landscape experience.

The anteroom was open so that one could take a look inside.

Brakel Town Hall dates back to the 13th century. The entrance was even further back then. Today, the openwork stepped gable with quatrefoils is particularly striking. On the south side, there is an ornately designed Renaissance-style portal from 1573, with a basket arch and decorated ashlar frame – an impressive example of the architectural skill of this period.

Very beautifully laid out. Also recommended for walkers.

The war memorial for the opera of the First World War at the Petritor is quite impressively designed.
