Beautiful, intricate old town with narrow streets and cozy restaurants

The trail is well marked with either a yellow sign with the number 11 or a red dot. New route signposted, which I didn't go because it seems to lead over a mountain. Old way still possible. Lots of spiders and cobwebs along the way. Long stick recommended for removal. Hiking shoes are mandatory!

The mountain village called by the Greeks Chora (old Alonissos) is impressive with its picturesque streets and corners up and down with the typical Greek churches or chapels and its many small taverns with wonderful views.
