Here you can get fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the field, everything tastes very good and the prices are reasonable. This is one of the Great Walks in New Zealand. In my opinion the best view is by kayak. You can rent boats for multiple day trips or do guided trips. There are water taxi options for return. Many of the bays are water only access. The Awaroa Lodge at the top of the park has EFTPOS and great food.

Good fun easy track with great views at times, just remember to watch the track :)

Easiest and quickest way to get between Mapua and Rabbit Island. Just be aware that seasonal hours apply and will affect sailing times.
