救命ボート「WALTHER MÜLLER」は、DGzRSの支援者であるWALTHER MÜLLERにちなんで、1977年7月30日にバルデンフレートで命名されました。これはDGzRSの9メートルクラスに属します。この救命ボートは2006年に退役し、ドルヌマーシエル/ヴェスターアックマーシエルの港博物館に移管されました。元救命ボート「WALTHER MÜLLER」は現在、ヴェスターアックマーシエルにある古い救助用小屋（N53°40'23" E7°28'45"）の前に展示されています。これは、1960年まで存在したフリードリヒシュルースェの救命ステーションを記念するもので、2006年10月8日に、かつてのステーションの最初の船長「EPPE DE BLOOM」の名前に改称され、盛大に除幕されました。
