Three languages meet here :-)

A truly fantastic mountain bike touring destination with various downhill options. For the approach/ascent, I recommend turning right halfway between the Furkelhütte and the Stilfser Alm (approximately at the level of the Tradakopf). There are still some carrying sections, but you'll save about 200 meters of elevation gain compared to the Stilfser Alm, and the path is less steep.

Eagle's nest above the Stelvio, quickly accessible from there on a steep path (push!). Great view. The Gold Trail begins here (note the permitted times!!) and the trail down to the Umbrail (old military road).

The Garibaldi refuge, also known as Dreisprachenspitze, dominates the Stelvio Pass. Dreisprachenspitze means “Peak of the three languages” to underline the meeting of three languages: Italian, German and Ladin and the boundary stones placed two meters from the refuge highlight the borders between Switzerland, Lombardy and Alto Adige. The building has the appearance of a castle and here you can admire, in all their majestic magic and magnificence, the Ortles (3905 m.), the Bernina (4049 m.), the distant peaks of the Palla Bianca - Weißkugel (3739 m.) and Piz Buin (3312 m.) with an "exclusive" view of the long asphalt snake that leads to the Pass.

From up here there is a truly spectacular view and an indescribable peace.

The church was first mentioned in a document in 1471. The organ that dominates the interior comes from the Tyrolean organ builder Fuchs family.

Wow, a bike peak at 2163m! It has its price... 670hm have to be carried or pushed from the Upper Stilfser Alm.

The Döss Radond is located at an altitude of 2,234 metres. It is the highest point of Val Mora. Once here it is all downhill, whether you continue towards Switzerland or towards Cancano. The meaning of the name is "round hump", and indicates the particular shape that the valley took when the glaciers melted. A nice point to stop, rest, admire the view.
