This castle is located in a park above the village and dates back to the 11th century. It was renovated in the 15th and 16th centuries. In front of the living area with two round corner turrets there are two heavy square towers with aisles.

We were there on a Monday and couldn't visit the castle and museum.

The castle may have been built as early as the 12th century by the Lords of Grandson. The Savoyard Lords of Montferrand-La Sarra achieved great prestige.
