The only fixed road crossing between Hameln and Grohnde

The cycle paths along the Weser River are wonderful to cycle on, and there are plenty of places to sit and take a short break.

The old city wall surrounds the historic town center, which is easy to walk along. Sights such as the stream, old buildings, and half-timbered houses can be admired on both sides of the path. In the town center itself, you can also see beautiful old houses. Unfortunately, most of the narrow streets are accessible by car, so a leisurely stroll on foot is slightly hampered, but not a hindrance.
