clear water - sweet island in the middle

The fine gravel is peppered with many large stones (3-4 cm). Interspersed with sections with many sandy patches. Still manageable for mountain bikers or gravel riders, but the touring cyclists had already given up on the cobblestones. I cycled from Krakow to Güstrow; a more pleasant route would probably have been Krakow>Bellin>Kirch Rosin (cycle path)>Güstrow.

Nice café at the fog breakthrough valley. Open on weekends and public holidays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. There are delicious cakes, coffee and also alpaca products from the alpacas kept here. However, these are not open to the public!

Best rest stop in the Krakower See area! In the middle of the Nebeltal with great food! The new owners are young and bring in a modern vibe. Toilets are 1a and the mill museum is also worth a visit.

The water mill seems to be still in operation, at least new looking spare parts were lying around in front of the mill and the barrage showed the latest technology. If you want you can have a snack here and drink a coffee, champagne or beer. There were some large tables and benches waiting for guests. There seems to be a small museum in the mill barn. Unfortunately we were there on a rainy day and it seemed to be closed, maybe also because of Corona. It looked like the operator seems to be expanding the mill for tourism. Let's see what happens there. We'll definitely stop by again ...

Today there is a mill museum in the mill. On the mill site you can watch a fish staircase and paths around the water tower invite you to go for a walk. A snack bar is available and the restored barn on the premises is used for various occasions. In the summer, a mill festival is traditionally held here.
