Newly created lake or pond in the middle of the forest of the Brand nature reserve. The excavation was partially created as a wall and over time nature will be able to recover. In a few years it will certainly be a nice place, also for the animal forest dwellers, so always nice and quiet 🤫

This old rail network connects Hänigsen, Obershagen, Nienhagen and Wathlingen. No "official" train has run here since 1996. Draisine rides for the Kalibahn Niedersachsen-Riedel association were probably once possible. At the moment it doesn't look like anything is going on here.
