The Green Hunter is a lovely restaurant on the outskirts of BS. The average age of the guests is usually quite high ;-). There are great seasonal dishes and when the weather is nice you can sit outside behind the building. It is also a good address for cyclists as the opening times are better than many places in the area! From here you can start lovely tours on foot or by bike.

The extensive pond landscape in Riddagshausen is the result of the work of the Cistercian monks, who drained the then very swampy area and created fish ponds. Of the original 28 ponds, 11 still exist today, of which the Mittelteich and Kreuzteich (between which the excellent path marked here runs) are among the largest. The ponds are home to a rich variety of flora and fauna.
