You should definitely stop by the Burgdorfer Schützenhaus if you like beer. Burgdorfer 1999 beer was first brewed in the brewery. Today, the facility is still in operation, producing specialty beers. This separate cycleway through Burgdorf is on excellent smooth asphalted surface, perfect for roadbike and allows one to traverse the city with little motor vehicle traffic.
