A beautiful viewing rock from which you can get a good view of the Elbe valley.

The viewing point is about 160 meters above the Elbe and offers a view of the Elbe valley. Directly opposite is the small town of Dolní Žleb (Niedergrund) in the deeply cut Elbe valley. Further upstream you can see Čertova Voda (Tschirte) and Podskalí (Rasseln). The many rocks opposite have interesting names, as you can see from the information board. The car park is free of charge and can be used as a starting point for several beautiful hikes.

Unfortunately it's currently quite a mud hole and not very inviting to linger - the N7xes like mud baths ;-)

Romantic complex, however: if I were a mermaid, I wouldn't want to live there (as muddy as the pond currently is)!

The highlight of this path is without a doubt the viewpoint, which offers a fantastic view into and over the impressive Elbe Gorge. Here it seems as if time stands still. The deep Elbe valley stretches far below you, while in the distance the mighty table mountains rise into the sky like silent sentinels. What particularly stands out is the High Snow Mountain, or Decínský Snežník, a majestic natural monument that inspires both awe and admiration.

Hiking in the area of the Teufelsgrat, also known as the Lietenkamm, which proudly stretches 451 meters into the sky, takes us along paths where nature appears in all its glory. Even more majestic is the Großer Zschirnstein, which, at 561 meters, watches over the land like a gentle giant. But a special highlight on this hike is undoubtedly the view over the Elbe Gorge from Vyhlídka nad kaňonem Labe. As if on a natural stage, a spectacle unfolds here that is unparalleled in its beauty and majesty. The lush green of the forests, crossed by the silver ribbon of the Elbe that winds through the gorge, inspires awe and wonder. Thanks to its location directly on Rosenkammweg, this viewing point is not only legal to enter, but also easy to reach. A look into the distance reveals the rose view and beyond, almost on the horizon, the Großer Zschirnstein. It is as if the entire region here, from this point, flows together in a harmonious panorama.
