A beautiful via ferrata in the gorge, nice and cool in summer. Unfortunately, the Wiesler Falls had hardly any water. In our opinion, the difficulty is rather underrated. According to the topography, the Glattsprung (Glatt Jump) is only rated C. We found it to be the most difficult section (it requires a lot of effort and a bit of strength) and would have rated it more as C/D. We would also have rated some other sections marked B/C as C.

The gorge soon gives a clear view of the summit or the mountain station. Scenic ascent up the mountain forest. Keep an eye out for the chamois in the upper part!

The hike through the Burggrabenklamm is a wonderful natural experience. However, surefootedness and a head for heights are prerequisites.

On the way to the Intersport via ferrata Donnerkogel we took the climb with us. 12 euros toll per car. The climb itself offers some nice elements and surprises. The difficulty is increased by the wet. Below 1.60m it becomes even more difficult. In front of us was a maybe 5-year-old child who was pushed through the path by his parents and had to swing by hand. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone involved. Otherwise very worthwhile climb. The upper part is again crisp and very irritating.

The Valerieweg is still accessible and, in my opinion, not too easy to walk. Nevertheless, you have a good view of the gorge.

Here is the beginning of a challenging path along the gorge. Those who are sure-footed and are not afraid of heights can dare to go up the hill. If you are absolutely sure, you can also go downhill. At the top you are rewarded in different ways: with the beautiful view or with the huts where you can get good snacks.

We did it when it was wet, so it was definitely no longer a C via ferrata. So when it is wet you should have an extra portion of strength, nerve strength and a sling in your luggage. The sling is worth gold in the Gattsprung, especially for smaller people.
