From the opposite bank you have a great view of the historic town of Saint-Ursanne. A sublime moment when you cross the stone bridge and through the gate into the city.

The Plain-de-Saigne pond is a small artificial lake located in Montfaucon. It's a great place to picnic and admire the reflections of the sky and trees on the water. You can also learn about the history of the lake, which was once home to a mill and peat extraction site.

Very beautiful gorge, which ideally you drive uphill from Undervelier to Le Pihoux. So you can enjoy all the wonderful views and admire the imposing Jura rock formations.

The Étang de Plain de Saigne is located in the municipality of Montfaucon in the canton of Jura. It lies embedded in lush alpine meadows in a high moor area at an altitude of 860 meters above sea level. The pond is under nature protection.

The city entrance via the St.-Jean bridge is a great photo opportunity.

The first church stood here as early as the 11th century. The current building dates from the transition from late Romanesque to Gothic and essential parts were completed in the 12th century.
