Unlike the Blochmont, which crosses the same ridge just a little further on, this road from Wolschwiller is considerably more challenging. After a gentle start, the route climbs relatively steeply through the narrow valley. A stream flows to the right, while beautiful rock formations are often visible to the left. At the top, near the unmistakable 'Lange Matte' (Long Meadow), the terrain levels out again, and soon you're at the top.

While the prosperous times in the town of Lucelle are over, the Lac de Lucelle is a nature reserve that captivates with its peace, idyll and beauty. The lake can be easily walked around on a well-developed nature trail, and there are many benches where you can watch the ducks and fish in the lake.

From Wollschwiller to Kiffis is a pleasant - albeit demanding - climb. Little traffic.

From the opposite bank you have a great view of the historic town of Saint-Ursanne. A sublime moment when you cross the stone bridge and through the gate into the city.

Lake Lucelle is the smallest in Switzerland and is located in a protected natural area near the French border. The trail around the lake is a comfortable and mostly flat 2km loop, with only 30m of elevation gain and loss. You can enjoy the view of the sparkling water, colorful vegetation and secluded houses on the other side of the lake. Whether you want to run fast or slow, Lake Lucelle offers a delightful experience for trail runners of all levels.

Very beautiful gorge, which ideally you drive uphill from Undervelier to Le Pihoux. So you can enjoy all the wonderful views and admire the imposing Jura rock formations.
