Difficult to access, but the view is worth the detour. The prices are not excessive.

This refuge is located in the Chablais massif, very close to the GR 5. It is a good stopover point to discover the forests, mountain pastures and peaks in the surrounding area. It has 44 beds (reduced to 20 during the winter period). The refuge provides a kitchen area (without a fridge) to allow you to prepare your meals. Beautiful hut with a breathtaking view on Lac du Leman and the Alps!

Very nice refuge with an incredible view of the Chablais. Located at the foot of Mont de Grange and just under the Col des Mattes, you can climb there simply to eat, or as a "variant" stage of the GR5.

Very nice little refuge accessible from a passage on the way which can be impressive. Do not hesitate to stop there for a drink, spend the night or even ask for advice on the route.

A bit off the GR5 but a good alternative and great views as you continue south.

The Trébentaz refuge offers 24 dormitory beds as well as two tent pitches. You can also dine like a king in an authentic and family atmosphere. Whether for overnight stays or meals, it is mandatory to book in advance. Mountain refuge located under the summit of the Dent d'Oche, also called "Refuge du nid d'Aigle". You will find something to taste there. Upon reservation, you can also have lunch and dinner and spend the night there (only open during the summer months).
