The picturesque Lüsgersee is located at an altitude of around 2170 meters and can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes from the mountain station of the Belalp cable car. This natural mountain lake is therefore particularly suitable for family outings. Children can observe numerous small animals here.

The Lüsgersee on the Belalp is the perfect place to cool off in summer. So if you are looking for refreshment, a swim in the lake is highly recommended. Fantastically beautiful mountain lake in the Unesco World Heritage Site of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch.

The trail to the Schwarzsee should only be used in off-peak times (many hikers)

this is the most beautiful valley, Hohenweg is a walk you shouldn't miss. I like walking towards Fafleralp (more than the other way round)

Here the Massa is dammed to produce electricity. The water comes from the Great Aletsch Glacier, the turbines are in Bitsch.
