This medieval castle was extensively remodeled in the 16th century in the Renaissance style and has been undergoing restoration for about twenty years. The moats still remain on two of the four sides, the latter being delimited by round towers where the cannon openings can still be seen. The castle boasts rich Renaissance decorations, both exterior and interior. These are sculpted (Burgundian cabbages, columns with Corinthian capitals, friezes, gargoyles, draperies, etc.) or painted (puttis, animals, or floral motifs on the ceilings). There is even a spiral staircase. The gardens, with a French-style section, an English-style section, and a conservatory orchard, are also charming. The castle can be visited throughout the spring and summer.

This is a very clear viewpoint towards the south, at the edge of the plateau overlooking Noidant-Châtenoy. It is also an excellent astronomical observation post (very little light pollution and no tall trees nearby). It can be reached by coming from the Noidant corniches path, which makes a nice sequence.

Abbey built between 1150 and 1220 which welcomed Cistercian monks. It was one of the largest and most beautiful in the region because it had the support of many local lords. History, however, did not do it any favors and it suffered plague, famine, wars including that of the Hundred Years and numerous pillagings until the 16th century. During the 18th century, a new cloister and then a new monastic palace were built but the Revolution passed through and the abbey saw its last hour sounded. Today only remains of the 15th century cloister, a wall of the church transept, the doorman's accommodation and some buildings of the convent which were transformed into a farm.

Located at the crossroads of several roads, this large washhouse retains its washing basin. Its two gable walls have large openings to ventilate and light the interior and reveal its metal structure.
