Bucolic walk along a river with celadon water. Perfect for a family, with a little girl of 3.5 years old for whom it was the first walk. We are never far from civilization (railway, highway nearby), and yet we immediately escape into this natural setting.

Yvoire is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. Its medieval heritage, its label as a flowery town, and its privileged position on the banks of Lake Geneva have something to do with it. Take the time to stroll through its historic center and get lost on the trails of the many natural spaces of this town in the Thonon-les-Bains agglomeration.

Rolle Castle was built in the 13th century and stands directly on the lakeshore. The fortress is not open to the public, but the castle with its unusual design can also be explored from the outside.

This is one of my favourite destinations for mountain biking (leave the bike on the side before the ultimate ascent), hiking and trail running in the Jura above Nyon. Enjoy not having the crowds like on La Dôle and similarly beautiful views.
