A beautiful place with wonderful scenery. The road there is much better on the Swiss side than in France. Traffic is quite heavy in both directions, especially during commuter times.

On this section of the route there are lots of tunnels hewn out of the rock. A beautiful section of the valley. There is no cycle path though, and there are quite a few cars driving on the road!

Unfortunately, the restaurant is often fully booked at lunchtime, it is better to reserve a seat!

after a long descent, the valley opens up and the Doubs forms a lake with a wide view. A great place to relax. It is a pity that the restaurant has been closed.
