A beautiful castle, like something out of a fairytale. However, it's not open to visitors; it now belongs to the municipality of Mertzig.

Turelbaach Castle, built by Pol Gilsons, is picturesquely situated on an island in a forest pond. With its towers, windows and gates, it looks like something out of a fairy tale. he youngest example of a historicism castle. Built and designed by one man: Pol Gilson (? - 2007). As a summer house hidden in the Luxembourg forests. A first wooden version burned down in 1973, after which Gilson built this stone version. Since the end of 2020, the property has been owned by the Mertzig municipality, which intends to open the domain to the public. The castle is also known as Turelbach.
