The entire castle is still completely preserved and open to the public

It is called the "Castle outside Husum" because, when it was built, it was located outside the city limits. It is the only surviving castle on Schleswig-Holstein's west coast and can be visited. It houses a castle museum, a cultural center, and a lovely café.

On Wednesdays at 3 p.m. there is a guided tour of the Hoyerswort manor house. Coffee and cake 🍰☕ is highly recommended.
